The Complete Demolition Service
In 1998 the operational management of the demolition activity of the Group was separated from the construction activity within a new company, JP Demolition and Petroleum Decommissioning Limited T/A JP Demolition. Since then, the demolition activity has grown into a £7m turnover business nationwide, with Esso, BP and McCarthy & Stone amongst its repeat customers. JP Demolition is now the largest independent specialist petrol forecourt decommissioning contractor in Great Britain, but, as in the construction business, has diversified into other demolition areas.

Typical demolition projects undertaken are between £20,000 and £200,000 in value and range from petrol station decommissioning to site clearance for property developers. In performing our demolition duties, Health and Safety considerations are a top priority and JP Demolition is proud to have been instrumental in assisting ABB Utech (Project managers for Esso) in achieving a RoSPA merit award. JP Demolition is instrumental in delivering JP Group's environmental policy.

DECONTAMINATION AND THE ENVIRONMENT

When environmental problems occur they need to be dealt with swiftly, economically and above all, professionally. Calling in JP Demolition at an early stage enables the correct monitoring, analysis and recommendations for treatment to be made before a problem becomes unmanageable. JP Demolition is able to carry out surveys to monitor ground and groundwater contamination as well as more specialised areas such as Flame Ionisation Detection for hydrocarbons. We can arrange laboratory analysis, reports and recommendations and offer Turnkey packages to deal with virtually any situation. If your forecourt has suffered from large spillages or pipe leakage, JP Demolition can provide a comprehensive clean up and repair service. To maintain a clean environment JP Demolition cleans up spillages, drains tanks and pumps, repairs pipes and tanks or removes and replaces tanks together with the soil and ground water contamination.
