| JP Construction Group - Awards & Qualifications
JP Group is proud to be a member of the forecourt industry associations the Association for Petroleum and Explosives Administration (APEA), and the Petroleum Equipment Installers and Manufacturers Federation (PEIMF). All JP Group companies belong to the National Housebuilders Council to ensure high quality in the finished product of our housing developments.
Our membership of the Construction Industry Training Board ensures our employees are trained to the high level of competence required to carry out their duties.
As a testament to not only the Health and Safety Department, but also to our site-based employees, BP Global Alliance awarded JP Group Limited 4 out of its 8 annual Health and Safety Awards in 2004 including the very prestigious "Best Principal Contractor" award. JP Demolition was also instrumental in assisting ABB Utech, project managers for Esso, in achieving a RoSPA merit award for Health and Safety.
Des Jones, Contracts Manager for JP Construction, also received an award for the "Most Proactive Individual"
from Graham Sims of BP UK Retail at the BP Global Alliance UK Safety Awards on May 3rd 2005.
At the 2007 BP Global Alliance Incident & Injury Free Awards Dinner held on the 8th March at Milton Keynes, JP Construction were once again amongst the winners.
Congratulations to John Parrott, Group Chairman, and Phil Price, Site Foreman, who both won awards. Johns' award was presented for over 35 years safe service to the oil industry, whilst Phil won his award for the safe way he has undertaken maintenance works on live BP forecourts over the past 6 months. We are delighted that our company's continued emphasis on Health & Safety has again been recognised by our Key Clients.
We were delighted to win the "Tiger Performance Award 2007" by Esso Petroleum on their Contractor Safety Recognition Program, being awarded first place at the European Health & Safety Performance Seminar at the NEC on 19th March 2008.
On 10th April 2008, we were pleased to have received accreditation from SAFEcontractor, a programme which recognises very high standards of health and safety practice amongst UK contractors. The scheme is operated by international safety, health and environmental risk management specialists, the National Britannia Group, www.safecontractor.com.

We were pleased to receive a Civic Award from Worcester City Council for our contribution to the quality of the City for the restoration of the former British Legion Club, St Nicholas Street, Worcester,which was converted into apartments for Trinity Gate Property Limited. The awards ceremony took place on January 25th 2006 at the Guildhall, Worcester.

JP Group were pleased to announce that following an International Contractor Safety Rating System Audit in December 2005,we were granted DNV accreditation for a further 3 years by Det Norske Veritas.

JP Demolition received plaudits from BP Global Alliance in February 2006, for their performance during the demolition of a BP Filling Station at Northampton - a letter of thanks received from Tony Wincott of BP Global Alliance is shown below.
